Come avevo anticipato in questo journal ( [link] ), ho realizzato un paio di illustrazioni "teaser" del nascente "Hayate project", il cui titolo provvisorio è – al momento – Kamisora.

Non è escluso che realizzi un definitivo di questa illustrazione, ma siccome per ora sto un po' menando il can per l'aia con tutti questi concept (c'è pure tutto quello che non avete visto e non vedrete probabilmente mai...) e appunti, è il caso di mettere per un po' da parte queste cose e concentrarsi sul completamento della sceneggiatura.
Quindi per ora questa resta un concept, una prova colore.
Se l'ipotetica copertina ( [link] ) anticipava il tono e la "filosofia" dell'opera, questa tavola invece riassume quelli che saranno gli avvenimenti salienti della storia; non solo lo scontro tra aerei americani e giapponesi, ma anche i bombardamenti americani sulle città nipponiche. La tavola è quindi divisa in 3 piani che mostrano 3 diverse situazioni, ma non sono certo che si capisca (è anche per questo che ho deciso per ora di mettere da parte l'idea di realizzare un definitivo).

Ad I said in this journal ( [link] ), I made a couple of "teaser" illustration for my "Hayate project", whom provisional title – by now – is Kamisora.

Perhaps I will make a definitive version of this plate, but since it's some time that I'm beating about the bush with all these concepts (there are also the ones you won't see...) and all the notes I'm taking, I think it's time for me to set aside these thing and concentrate on the script completion.
So – for now – this remains a concept, a color test.
If the hypothetical cover ( [link] ) prefigurates the mood and the "philosophy" of this graphic novel, this illustration is aimed to show the salient facts of the story; not only the obvious dogfight between Japanese and American fighters, but also the American bombings of Japanese cities.
This illo is divided in 3 different "scenes", but I'm not sure this is plain enough (this is also why I decided to leave this illustration for now).
